About the business
BaliSitter is a childcare marketplace built for families living in or travelling to Bali. The platform connects parents with vetted babysitters through both scheduled bookings and an Instant Match service for families who need childcare at short notice.
Today, finding reliable childcare in Bali still often depends on personal recommendations, agencies, hotels or WhatsApp groups. BaliSitter is designed to make that process more structured, transparent and convenient, while putting trust and safety at the centre of the experience.
The product has already been built and is currently in its final pre-launch stage. The platform includes sitter onboarding and vetting, scheduled and instant bookings, availability management, secure payments through Xendit, ratings, booking management and an operational administration system.
Sitters are required to complete a structured vetting process including identity verification, background documentation, interviews, references and first-aid requirements. BaliSitter is also developing an optional Live Monitoring service to provide parents with an additional level of reassurance during eligible bookings.
The company is currently pre-revenue and has not yet commercially launched. Rather than using the raise to build an initial concept, the funding is intended to take an already-developed product to market and finance the first phase of commercial execution.
The initial market is Bali, with customer acquisition focused primarily on visiting families and expatriate residents. The longer-term opportunity is to replicate the model in other tourism and expatriate markets in Indonesia and Southeast Asia once the Bali operation has been proven.
The current Year 1 base-case model projects approximately USD 261,000 in net platform revenue. These figures are forward-looking projections rather than historical trading results.
We are raising USD 140,000 to fund the Bali launch, customer acquisition, sitter recruitment and vetting, operations, technology development, Live Monitoring equipment, legal and company setup, and working capital.
